TG4 has secured the rights to broadcast the Australian Football League Women’s (AFLW) 2021 season and we are DELIGHTED to announce we are the very proud sponsors!
TG4 will be broadcasting weekly AFLW matches as well as Monday night highlights starting this weekend and running for the full 12-week season and G+C will be there every step of the way as the official sponsors!

With a staggering FOURTEEN Irish players drafted into AFLW teams this year, we know there will be loads of excited and proud eyes on these unbelievable athletes each week.
All of these superstar women are national and hometown heroes through their respective GAA careers with Counties Mayo, Dublin, Tipperary, Leitrim, Clare, Cork and Cavan all now being represented down under. This is a huge moment for us as a community and being able to support Irish athletic talent abroad and continue the pivotal work of the 20X20 movement is not just exciting, but wholly necessary to Irish sport, and women in sport overall.
Although 20X20 as an organisation closed its doors at the end of last year, the spirit and passion to increase female participation in sport and coverage of women’s sport in the Irish media needs to live on and this is such an important way for us to continue to be a part of the movement.

Which makes us absolutely over the moon to be able to officially welcome Aisling McCarthy to the G+C Family as our very first Make Life Richer Ambassador!!!
Earlier last summer, we were very fortunate to connect with G+C supporter, Physiotherapist, Tipperary Ladies Football player and rising West Coast Eagles AFLW star, Aisling McCarthy. Ais has been a fan of Gym+Coffee for a while and we’ve been a fan of hers for even longer. Which makes us absolutely over the moon to be able to officially welcome Aisling McCarthy to the G+C Family as our very first Make Life Richer Ambassador!!! We're delighted, and so is Ais saying,
"I’m really excited to be a Gym+Coffee Ambassador and I think that the company holds a lot of values that i hold as a person, an athlete and a physiotherapist. I think they do a good job of promoting physical activity which is really important and something I’ve got so much enjoyment out of all of my life."
At only 24, Ais is a qualified physiotherapist and is already entering her 3rd AFLW season. She’s played GAA since the age of 7 and was named TG4’s Intermediate Player’s Player of the Year in 2017.
